Project Tasks
The Project Tasks tool is a powerful feature that allows users to efficiently manage tasks associated with a specific project. With this tool, users can easily create, manage and delete tasks based on various criteria.
Accessing the Project Task Tool
Navigate to the project you want to manage tasks for and lick the the "Tasks" tab.
Add a Project Task
Click the Add Task button
Enter all details into the Task side drawer
Click Save
All tasks related to the Project will be listed in the Task list. Tasks related to the Assignee will be listed in the Task list and the Assignee's Activity Center. Assignees will also receive an email.
Manage Project Tasks
Search
Search for specific tasks based on the Task title or Assignee. Simply enter keywords into the Search bar.
Filter
Click on the "All Tasks" dropdown menu
Selecting "All Tasks" will show all tasks associated with the project
Selecting "My Tasks" will display tasks assigned to you
Update Status
You can change the status of a task two different ways. From the Task list:
Click on the task name, update the status in the Task side drawer, and click Save, OR
Click on the status badge/pill of a task and choose a different status
Sort
The Project Task Tool offers sorting options to organize the Task List efficiently.
Status - alphabetically
Assignee - alphabetically
Can also filter the list by Assignee
Due Date - ascending or descending
Edit
Click on the Task title
Make any updates in the Task side drawer
Click Save
Delete
Hover your cursor on a Task
A trash can icon will appear to the right
Click the trash can
Confirm the delete
